About me

I have been working as a counsellor since 1992. I was drawn to counselling after twenty years of teaching in middle and secondary schools where I had an interest in Pastoral Care. 

I have worked in Private Practice, a University Counselling Service, General Practice and in a Secondary School. I also offr supervision to non counselling professionals.

Some of my counselling qualifications are:

  • Diploma in Person Centred Counselling University of Strathclyde
  • Certificate in Person Centred Supervision
  • Certificate in Person Centred Art Therapy Skills

Professional Memberships

I am a Registered Member of  British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), a  Senior Accredited Member (MBACP Snr Accred) and a Senior Accredited Supervisor (of individuals). I abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am subject to their complaints procedure.
